This thesis project is a poetic mode documentary on the theme of self love and how it has progressed through women of different generations, by exploring the differences, the similarities and the physical approach to taking care of one self! The project also implements a contrasting visual narrative through the spaces of the interviewees vs building sets that represent their definition of self-love.

This project is an approach towards self-love through women's perspective to define femininity as power and creativity not gender, as it is aimed for it to be inspiring to anyone! But to keep that comfort and power 90% of the team are all women!!!

We are looking for a woman in her 30 - 40s (age) to be part of the documentary as the third interviewee, the middle ground the connecting piece. We already completed two interviews with a 19 year old and a 60 year old. So we ask that you share your story with us, your journey of self-love, the complicated parts and the fun parts too.

A couple things you should know, the pre-interview process is to get to know each other and see if it is a match and if your narrative fits with the one the documentary is taking! If it is agreed to move forward to work together you should know since it is a student production we will take care of catering, and if you live outside of Amsterdam travel expenses too! It is not a paid job but a collaboration :).

Periode
The film production aims for two days of shooting ASAP, one in your space, if you feel safe to welcome the team into it, and secondly in a film studio at the campus of SAE university!
