ABOUT THE FILM
Liza Koifmans upcoming children's short film, Therian, produced by Clove Films.

The story follows a young girl who moves towns and befriends a small group of kids who are in the Therian community. The cat plays a symbolic role because it becomes her “spirit therian animal” in the film. The cat shots also bookend the film.

Logline: Nina (9) voelt zich buitengesloten op haar nieuwe school, tot ze wordt meegenomen in de geheime wereld van de Therians. In de nieuwe fantasiewereld lijkt alles perfect… tot één online filmpje alles op z'n kop zet.

THE SCENES
In the first and last scenes, we have a shot of a cat sitting outside next to a bush in a quiet neighborhood. The cat is to silently sit, watching the main actor as she leaves her house. We would like to achieve this either with a trained cat that is happy to sit still, or we attach fishing wire to its collar and secure that to the bush so it does not run away.

Of course, we would also need the cat to be comfortable with 1) being outside, 2) wearing a collar, 3) a film set/crowd of people (crew is about 20 people).
