The project aims to create a more diverse and representative database of adolescent facial expressions for use in psychology and neuroscience research. Adolescents, especially those from different ethnic backgrounds, are still underrepresented in many of the face databases currently used in research.
Participation involves one approximately 45-minute photography session at VU Amsterdam, and participants receive €20 compensation and a professional headshot.
