Remain to Be Seen is a psychodrama, directed by Camí Engelbrecht and Mikołaj Żulpo, about
the relationship between Emma, a young
immigrant working in a glasshouse for an older
Dutch lady who acts as her mentor.
Emma works tirelessly, saving to fulfill her
dream of traveling the world, while the older
woman has become consumed by the belief
that life owes her a turning point or an event
that will finally give meaning to the desires she
failed to pursue herself.
As their relationship deepens, the greenhouse
becomes a space of both refuge and
confinement, blurring the boundaries between
mentorship and control. The older woman
projects her own unfulfilled ambitions onto
Emma, gradually trapping her within the same
state of suspended possibility in which she
has lived for years.
The film will explore themes of the dreads of
wasted life, anxiety of stasis and the weight of
regret.

We are looking for an older dutch woman to portray the role of Ada. You should be comfortable acting in English - but any dutch accent is no problem. The short film is dialogue based so will require memorization of more lines.

Periode
The shooting days are 25 and 26th of November. We are shooting in a greenhouse near The Hague, car rides on the shooting days will be available from The Hague and from Rotterdam.
