A poetic short film about a feeling many city dwellers know well: being at home in the city, yet cut off from something more essential. Moving between concrete and nature, confinement and open space, the film explores belonging, the fear of missing out, and the pull to reconnect with the earth.

This film is the first in a year-long project: together with my best friend, I’ll be making a new short film every month for the next twelve months.

Omschrijving
The lead: an actor or actress ([age range]) who can carry the film through presence, movement and voice-over rather than dialogue. You feel at ease outdoors, in nature and in silence. Physical expressiveness and a calm, magnetic screen presence are a plus.

For the 12-film project, we’re also building a network of creatives: actors, visual artists, musicians and bands, dancers, writers, and anyone with a story to tell. Have an idea, a song, a performance or a concept you’d like to see on screen? We’re open to every idea and every kind of collaboration.
