Hello!
I am a film student in my last semester in need of a crew for my graduation project: a series of 3 underground/uk rap music videos with a couple short dialogue scenes which will be turned into a short film of 10-15 minutes! The project will cover the theme of self discovery/exploring identity struggles through dreams. Therefore, the project will have an emphasis on atmospheric, dream-like visuals.

The story follows Max, a young man who has an encounter with a woman in a dream which changes his perception of himself. The film will follow him through this dream and the aftermath as he learns to better understand his identity and gender expression.

Description
We are looking for two actors, a man and woman aged 18-25.

Max:
Max is a young man who is lost, as he cannot seem to understand himself or his identity. He is stuck in a repetitive lifestyle. After meeting a girl in his dreams who is a stark opposite of himself, he wakes up and spends his days dreaming of being with her again. He later comes to terms with the fact that the girl is not real, and decides to manifest the traits he desires within himself, leading to him finding himself and gaining new confidence.

Kima:
Kima is a young woman who only exists in the mind of Max. She is everything that Max isn't: confident, determined, and secure. Through their time together, Kima helps Max realize that she is not just a dream but another version of Max, encouraging him to find her within himself, and therefore helping him discover new ways to express himself.

Period
Filming to take place within July 8th to 19th.
