About the film
As an assignment for my Creative Business studies, I have to make a short film about the theme of online identity and privacy. For this, I want to make a short horror film about a boy (Quinn) who thinks it's cool to watch hidden camera pranks and other hidden camera videos on social media. However, this love for these types of videos quickly diminishes when he discovers that he himself is being filmed and posted by someone who has snuck into his house.

Synopsis
Quinn comes across an account belonging to someone hiding in people's houses to secretly film them. Quinn thinks this is "fucking awesome" and decides to follow the account. The next day, however, a number of inexplicable things happen: a window or door is suddenly ajar, his cup is in a different spot on the table, and blankets have shifted. Quinn doesn't think much of it, until he eventually comes across a small camera in a closet. He tries to convince himself that one of his friends put it there or forgot about it; that's the most logical explanation, right? But then the stalker's account pops up on his "For You" page; it is a video in which the stalker delivers a message to his followers: "So don't forget, follow at your own risk, because before you know it, I'll be in your house..."

What we offer
I will be completely honest and say that I don't have a huge amount to offer, since I am just a student myself, but this would be a good learning experience for all of us. If the short film turns out well, you could also use it in your portfolio. I am also willing to offer some compensation for any travel expenses.

Description
For this film, I am looking for someone for the role of the boy and for the role of the “stalker” who is in his house (gender does not matter for this role, because this character wears a mask and speaks little to not at all; when he/she does speak, it is distorted).

Quinn is a fairly “standard” boy; he fits in easily everywhere and has a good group of friends. He likes gaming, going out with friends, and goes to the gym regularly. He is quite positive and social, but also somewhat ignorant in certain areas. He finds it difficult to empathize with others' situations (such as the “victims” of the hidden camera videos he enjoys watching so much).

The “stalker”/owner of the hidden camera account that Quinn has started following is actually very different. He/she has always been a bit withdrawn and didn't fit in very well with social groups. He/she has also become a victim of an unpleasant hidden camera video that was posted on social media. This person wants revenge, which is why he/she created this account and hides in the homes of people who encourage this problem; the followers of these hidden camera accounts, which includes Quinn.
