Description
For our new film project "De laatste Noot" we are looking for actors/actresses for the leading roles of David, Sam and Yara. This drama tells the poignant story of a father who tries to understand and restore the relationship with his deceased daughter through her music. It is an emotional journey through loss, guilt and self-discovery.

Available roles:

David (40-55 years):

Character Description: David is a man who has always chosen the safe path in life. He struggles with the pressure he has put on his daughter Yara and the guilt over her death. Although he feels love for his daughter, he has struggled to understand or support her passion for music. After her loss, he tries to bridge the distance between them through her music. David is a complex role, requiring deep emotional layers, from subdued grief to intense anger and ultimately reconciliation.
Physical Characteristics: No specific requirements, but a natural look of a caring father.

Sam (18-25 years):
Character Description: Sam is a close friend of Yara and shares her passion for music. He represents a younger generation determined to pursue their dreams despite doubts and challenges. Sam has a deep admiration for Yara and feels a responsibility to honor her legacy. His character strikes a balance between youthful ambition and vulnerability.
Physical Characteristics: No specific requirements, but Sam exudes a creative, passionate energy that should be palpable in the way he speaks and performs.

Yara (18-25 years)
Yara is a young woman full of passion and zest for life. Her greatest love is music, which is an outlet for her, a form of expression and a way to understand the world. She is talented, intuitive and creative, but also determined and brave. She dreams of breaking through as a musician and sharing her music with the world.
