We, 4 third year students at the Dutch Filmers Academy, are making a short film called Nox. The genre of the film is a thriller with a lot of tension and some action.

The film is about Eva, who works under the alias “Nox”, leading an anonymous and isolated existence. She works as a murder broker, drawing up detailed murder plans for anonymous clients. Despite being extremely successful, she feels increasingly alienated from her work.

Everything changes when she discovers that her latest assassination plan, already fully developed and submitted, is aimed at herself. While trying to escape her own plan, Eva must use all her skills to survive and discover who betrayed her, while trusting no one, not even her only ally Luka.

We are looking for 1 actress, and 3 actors. Below is a short description per person with the playing age we are looking for.

Eva, 24-30 years old (Main character)
Eva, nicknamed Nox, is a methodical and intelligent woman who has isolated her emotions in order to carry out her work as a murder broker. She feels increasingly alienated from her existence, but remains loyal to her profession. When she discovers that she herself is the target, she must not only survive physically, but also go through an emotional conflict. She must learn to let go of control and sometimes show her vulnerable side.

Luka, 20-30 years old
Luka is Eva's ally and technical expert. He is the only person who knows her real name and trusts her enough to share his own doubts. He wants to leave the criminal world, but realizes that this is dangerous. His inner struggle between loyalty to Eva and his own safety is an important theme in the film.

Malik, 35-45 years old
Malik is Eva's handler, or her contact within the criminal network. He plays a major role in passing on the orders. He remains mysterious and unreachable until the end of the film, which further increases the tension.

Steven, 25-45 years old
The hitman hired to take out Eva. He is clumsy and unpredictable. His hunt for Eva is a major tension point in the second and third acts of the film.
