The short film revolves around an elderly couple obsessed with the
Eleven Cities Tour. The living room full of Eleven Cities Tour memorabilia reflects their
passion. Grandpa stubbornly believes that the tour on natural ice will go ahead this year,
despite the rising temperatures. Grandma, more pragmatic and progressive,
secretly organizes an alternative Eleven Cities Tour... on pedal boats. During the
story we see Grandpa desperate attempts to create natural ice, such as calling
skating rinks and experimenting with ice cubes in a canal. Grandma tries him
subtly convince him to consider a more modern approach, but Grandpa insists
to tradition. Tensions rise when Grandpa discovers that someone has
water bike variant. He decides to sabotage the trip and prepares
extended with drills, paint balloons and banners. Upon arrival at the
cheerful starting location, he sees Grandma as the organizer. The warmth and the
enthusiasm of the participants—from families to traditional skating fans—do
finally realize that tradition can also be continued in a new way
Grandpa abandons his plans for sabotage and smiles cautiously at Grandma.
