Under The Pink Light is a short film about Johanna, a young mature woman who discovers her queer identity when she meets Lily in the nightlife. She is forced to keep this hidden from her strict religious mother, who would rather see her end up with her neighbor Pieter. Meanwhile, her own relationship with faith is tested by increasing pressure from her church. Which life does she choose – and does she even have that choice?

Although we are committed to providing a professional work environment and receive guidance from film professionals, we cannot offer payment for your contribution to this production. We do offer you more than enough food and drinks on set.

Description
We are looking for two groups of extras.

GROUP A
People of mixed ethnicities and genders in the age group 18-30. Group A is needed for three scenes that will be filmed in a nightclub. Group A must have 'going out' attire and/or clothing that reflects trends typical of Gen Z and/or the queer community, i.e. crop tops, dresses, skirts, heels, sneakers, baggy jeans, tank tops. Visible colored hair, visible tattoos (hand/neck/face) or visible piercings are a plus. Two or more possible outfit combinations are a plus.

GROUP B
People of different ethnicities, genders, ages (18 to 99, everyone is welcome!). Group B is needed for two scenes that will be filmed during the day in a church. Group B must have at least one set of sober, conservative 'black stocking clothing' in mainly grey and black tones as worn by strict reformed Christians: dress/skirt (women), headgear (no cap/hat) (women), shoes (no sneakers/heels), tie/suit (men). No visible colored hair, visible tattoos (hand/neck/face) or visible facial piercings. Different possible outfit combinations are a plus.
