GrobbeldijkTV is a comedy in which the humor comes mainly from the reports, because the residents of the small, timeless village experience special and strange things. The editors eagerly dive into this, because little happens. Outside of the reports, the focus is on the relationships between Sven/Tes, Karel, Maud and Marieke, with the most important development being the transition from hostility to friendship between Sven/Tes and Maud. The central themes are friendship and acceptance.

We are still looking for two actors for our comedy short film!

SVEN/TES (leading role, male or female)
Sven/Tes is sure of herself, but has an insecure side inside. She has found her place in GrobbeldijkTV and the reports are her show. She loves Grobbeldijk and the people who live there very much. She has found satisfaction and acceptance at GrobbeldijkTV and also holds on to this firmly. Change is not really her thing, everything has to stay the same.


KAREL
Karel is a real good guy. He thinks everything is fine, as long as Sven/Tes stays with him and accepts him. But morals are also very important to him. He doesn't stand up for himself quickly, but he always wants to do the right thing.
