Together with eight other people I am making a short film (5-7 min) for a competition at Open Studio Amsterdam.

Synopsis:
[Name], a young woman with no control over her own existence, is in a romance-less relationship with [Name], a somewhat older man who has already been married. They have a financially prosperous life but in terms of content their relationship is empty. In his silent ignorance he does not notice that [name woman] longs to be more dominant in both the relationship and her life.

Throughout the film, [Woman's name] slowly tries to shift the power dynamic by subtly adjusting the hand of their established routines. When he begins to lose more and more power in some aspects of their lives, she makes sure to fill this vacuum as quickly as possible. After causing a lot of tension, she finally has the upper hand in the relationship until, in a moment of overconfidence, she makes her plan clear to her husband.

At first, [man's name] is furious with her for all the things she has secretly done, but to her great surprise, he is willing to become submissive and conform to her idea of the relationship and life.
