For my graduation project I am making an absurdist/surrealist film about racism and identity. We follow our main character Mino, who feels like a Dutchman and looks like one too. However, he is discriminated against as if he were of Asian descent. This leads to a surrealist identity crisis, where he questions his origins.

The project comes from personal experiences, as my mother was adopted from Korea. The duality of feeling Dutch, but not being seen as such is what I portray in this film.

We are looking for a man who can play the father of the main character. The father cares a lot about Mino, but cannot be emotionally involved. This is because he cannot understand the situation well and prefers not to talk about difficult themes.
