LOGLINE
Two elderly friends from Rotterdam have their last conversation in a steam cabin, where one wants to say something important but the other doesn't listen for fear of being left alone.

SYNOPSIS
Mart; an uncharming old grouch, and Wil; a sweet, good-looking man for his age, are having a conversation in a steam cabin. Mart has a lot to say but actually says nothing, yet his friend Wil continuously reacts with genuine interest. Due to the heavy steam development, they cannot see each other or the other visitors in the steam cabin. Wil tries to interrupt Mart's chatter several times to tell his friend that he is terminally ill and could die at any moment. When this news finally reaches Mart, he changes from a tough man into an inconsolable man.

However, he knows how to hide his emotions behind the steam. With an apparent lack of reaction from his friend Mart, Wil resolutely leaves the steam cabin. Mart is left alone.
