Shattered is a film about the harm of self-hatred, but also about taking the first step towards self-love. In "Shattered" we follow Ashley, a 19/20 student who suffers from self-hatred. Every time she looks in the mirror, she insults herself and tells her everything she hates about herself. One day, her reflection (Yelsha) comes out of the mirror and tries to help her. What starts as a conversation turns into a confrontation. And in that confrontation, Ashley must decide: does she keep listening to the voice that has always hurt her, even when it says it can help, or does she finally learn to be kind to herself?

What do we offer?
This is a low budget student project, so no financial compensation is possible. I am looking for a talented actress who can play both versions of the main character. Someone who is willing to dive deep into the emotional layers of the character and dare to show vulnerability. The film is about inner struggle and confrontation, so I am looking for someone who can convey this in a subdued but powerful way.
