Hi, my name is Lena, and I am a Master’s student at the Dutch Filmacademy in Amsterdam. I am currently working on my graduation project: a short film that combines live-action and animation.

The story follows the fictional journey of an atom—from the birth of the universe through its transformations across different life forms, environments, and beings. Shifting between poetic imagery and narrative moments, the film creates a visual world that feels dreamlike. At its core, it is about connection and transformation, showing how even the smallest particle carries traces of countless stories.

The film will premiere at exhibitions in Amsterdam and Marseille in 2026, and will subsequently be submitted to film festivals and presented at other exhibition venues. Positioned at the intersection of cinema and visual arts, the project opens up an imaginative space where science and fiction merge into a playful exploration of life’s hidden threads.

What do we offer?
The shoot will take place in a calm, supportive, and low-pressure environment. Snacks and breaks will be provided, and I want to ensure the child feels safe and comfortable throughout the process.

As this is a student project, my budget is limited, but I am happy to discuss the coverage of travel expenses and provide a thank-you gift tailored to the child’s preferences.

Description
I am seeking a female child actor aged 7–13 who can jump rope while reciting a short riddle in English.

The text will be provided in advance so there’s plenty of time to prepare. Ideally, the child can memorize the riddle, but I can also provide cards to read from during filming if that feels more comfortable.
