Student-produced short film "Three at the table"

Synopsis: Claire* (23) spent her entire life taking over responsibilities of her immigrant Indonesian familiy and fulfilling the role of being a good eldest daughter. However her dream of going to filmschool in Vancouver quickly get crushed when her dad Robert* (57) plans to have her take over the family-owned flower shop.
The story explores the relationship of Claire and her family members, showcasing her warm connection to her mom Eve* (52), her turbulent relationship to her younger sister Ayu* (19) and an emotionally conflicted journey with her stubborn dad Robert.

A film about the clashing expectations between immigrant parents and their children.

Description
A female younger Indonesian (of other Southeast-Asian origin is fine as well!) between the ages of 19-25.
No prior acting experiences required however they're welcome. In case you're this is your first acting role, we will do our best to guide you and work together!

In this role you play the younger sister of "Claire" who's called "Ayu". She makes the impression of a bratty, ungrateful and spoiled little sister however she masks her insecurity of her sister leaving her behind and therefore losing the biggest anchor in her life. You will have to convey emotions like selflishness, egoism but also insecurity of being in the shadow of your older sister, fear of losing and masking with a polished image to the outer world (attending law school).
