We're inviting a trans/queer/femme voice actress to participate in a two-day workshop on camera as part of a research project at Leiden University.

Together with other trans/queer/femme participants, we will get together to experiment and devise ways to lie to the lie detector with our own bodies and shoot a micro-short film-within-a-film inspired by inflight safety videos: an "(un)safety video." Over the two days, we will guide the journey of our small (guerrilla) community with queer & feminist strategies of resistance to technologies of surveillance.

Your participation, including rehearsals, performance, and interviews will be recorded, and may be included in the written (academic publication) and/or audio-visual (documentary film) outputs of this research. Be assured that no material will be published without your full consent.

What do we offer?
For the two days of participation we can offer a fee of € 600 (excl. VAT). We will also provide meals and cover travel expenses for both days.

We would like to have your contribution to the project with your knowledge and experience about what "voice" means to your voice acting practice/profession as a trans/queer/femme person.
