As second-year film students at the DFA in Amsterdam, three of us are currently working on a short documentary about sleep paralysis and how people experience it. We're looking for one to three participants who would like to be interviewed on camera about their experiences.

Who we are:
We are between 18 and 23 years old and are developing this documentary for a school project. The documentary will be between 8 and 10 minutes long and is being developed to be shown only to our teacher and classmates. We may consider publishing the documentary elsewhere at a later date; this will only be done with the permission of both the crew and the participants.

What do we offer?
Because this is a student production we cannot offer compensation.

Description
Who we are looking for:
- Someone who experiences sleep paralysis, or has experienced it recently enough that they have clear memories to talk about
- Someone who can travel to the film location independently and at their own expense (most likely in Amsterdam and accessible by public transport) for a weekday somewhere between November and January
- Someone who speaks fluent Dutch or English
Someone who is willing to share personal information; for example, if your sleep paralysis started when you were 10 years old and you were experiencing a lot of stress, we might ask in the interview about the circumstances that caused that stress, etc.
- All ages/genders/ethnicities are welcome
