Brommers Kiek'n is a 20-minute coming-of-age film about fifteen-year-old Lea, who spends a summer at a campsite in Drenthe and is determined to lose her virginity, until reality teaches her what desire, boundaries, and autonomy truly mean. The film follows her journey between bravado and vulnerability, friendship and infatuation, as she navigates clumsy plans, silent encounters, and the Drenthe landscape. The story is sensual, honest, and raw, and tells from a female perspective about growing up, first sexuality, and finding your own voice, without sensationalism or judgment.

The film is written and directed by Rotterdam-based filmmaker Zoë Kiani and produced by Alexander Roux, a Groningen-based film producer with deep regional roots and experience with youthful, character-driven films.
Brommers Kiek'n has been selected for the NPO Fiction Film Campus and is being developed with the support of VPRO-Human.

For the proof-of-concept, we'd like to cast two actors and ask them to work with us for one or two days. If both parties are happy with the project and the film is realized, we'll move these actors on to the next phase.

What do we offer?
Daily allowance €150 excluding VAT (proof-of-concept phase, daily allowance during realization phase is higher)
Travel expenses reimbursement of 0.23 per km

We offer young actors the opportunity to participate in a professional film production supported by NPO and VPRO/HUMAN, where their input and energy actively shape the story. They receive coaching, workshops, table reads, and rehearsals where they can grow, experiment, and collaborate directly with the director and screenwriter. They also become part of a growing creative network in the Northern Netherlands, offering visibility, career opportunities, and a meaningful first step into the film world.

Age 15/16. (The film will be shot in the summer of 2026 or 2027; it's important that the actor looks credibly 15/16 at that time.)
Appearance: A mix of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern/Dutch features; preferably brown hair.
Speaks ABN or urban Dutch.
Acting talent and film experience are welcome but not required.

Pre's:
Someone with a natural curiosity and a touch of bravado or adventurousness.
Experience with riding a scooter/moped is a plus.
