Premise: A young man, lost between self-medication and emotional dependence, spirals through fleeting highs and crushing lows after a brief, intimate connection exposes the emptiness he’s been trying to escape.

Due to it being a student production for my project this semester, I can only offer catering for the shooting days as there is no budget for the film.

Description
Douglas: is the main character of this film. He’s a man in his mid-20s who appears laid-back and carefree on the surface, but internally he battles deep emotional pain. His addictive personality leads him to rely on alcohol, marijuana, and various pills or powders as a way to escape rather than confront his struggles. Doug’s story explores themes of self-destruction, vulnerability, and the quiet desperation of dealing with unspoken hurt.

Evelyn: is a young woman in her early 20s whose life is defined by uncertainty about her identity, her future, and her relationships. Growing up in a broken and emotionally unstable home, she never learned what real love should look like. Though she quietly struggles with bipolar disorder, she hides her condition from others, fearing judgment and misunderstanding. Her character explores themes of emotional conflict, identity, fear, and longing.


Supporting Cast: (Quite small roles, only Rio appears in 2 scenes)


Rio: Douglas’ best friend, also in his 20s. Loves to party but also has his life together. Tries to help Doug but is on the verge of giving up.


Lino: The third member of the group, also in his 20s. Similarly to Rio, also loves to party but also focuses on his studies and job. He is not as close to Douglas as Rio is, and has a closer relationship to Rio.


Anna: 20s, one of Evelyn's friends from uni, although Evelyn does not go out much when she does she is with Anna and Jade.


Jade: 20s, the other girl from the friend group, she is always around Anna since they are best friends for a while. Loves to drink when she’s partying and parties often, quite the social butterfly.


Willow (voice actress) : Douglas’ loving mother, in her late 40s. She worries for her son often, she knows he struggles and tries to do everything to help him. She can not stand his smoking habits, and thinks he quit smoking weed. She worries deeply and calls him frequently as she has a fear he will do something bad to himself.
