In Tussenruimte, we follow the reserved refugee Yisif and the uber-right-wing, hard-line Dutchman Henk. Two completely different people who find themselves in the same situation: a stalled elevator. What initially seems like a minor interruption in their day quickly escalates into the realization that they'll be stuck together for hours, struggling to survive.

What begins in a furniture store as two ordinary strangers will eventually lead to a close bond between them. Because, in reality, we're all more alike than you might first think.
