"Big Kids Are Kids Too" is about a large family where everything is always happening. When a new neighbor moves into their street, Puck and Mirre get the feeling something's not right. Their father, Cas, isn't convinced either, but their mother, Mea, sees no problem.
Meanwhile, at school and at home, all sorts of growing up happen: falling in love, fighting, feeling misunderstood, and discovering secrets about their parents. When their father gets into serious trouble, the children have to learn what it means to stand up for each other—even if adults sometimes don't get it.
This is a film about family, trust, and how hard growing up can be, even for big people.

Due to circumstances, we need to recast one of our main roles. We're looking for a white girl who can play 17 years old and wear size S/36 clothing, as some of the clothing has already been purchased.

Mirre is the oldest child at home, 17, and like Scott, she loves skating. She skips school and instills the same passion in her younger brothers. Although she's practically always at the skate park, she helps her parents a lot with the younger children.
