We're currently enthusiastically preparing for the short film "Boemerang." This project is part of the NPO Talent Campus, a talent development program run by the public broadcaster, in collaboration with the NTR. Although we're working with a small budget, we hope to find an enthusiastic group of people with a passion for film who would love to help us bring this unique story to life.

The story :
Boemerang, written and directed by Salma Chafouk Idrissi, highlights a crucial social issue: the "hard cut" in youth care. We follow Ezra, who, on her 18th birthday, is forced to leave her familiar surroundings and the close bond with her care provider. The film depicts the unique and complex bond between care provider and young person.

We are looking for:

-8 young people (13-18 years) for scenes in the youth institution.
Shooting dates: March 17 & 18 or 20, 2026.
We are looking for some young people for March 17 & 18 in Lage Vuursche, and some young people for March 20 in Zaandam.

-4 matures (23-40 years) for scenes in the mature institution.
Filming date: March 19, 2026.

- 1 supervisor (30-40 years old) for the role of care provider in the youth institution.
Shooting times: a few hours on the evening of March 20, 2026.

-2 men (35-50 years old) for the scene in Ezra's mother's house.
Shooting day: a few hours on March 19 or 20, 2026.

- 1 woman (38-55 years old), mixed ethnicity with dark hair, for the role of Ezra's confused mother
Shooting day: a few hours on March 19 or 20, 2026.
