After Effects follows Christian Fade, a 17-year-old boy who manages to escape from an institution, convinced that once he gets out he can finally leave everything behind. But freedom is not the fresh start he imagined. Outside, he finds himself overwhelmed by depression and the weight of a deep trauma that refuses to let go. Escaping the institution is only the beginning; escaping what lives inside him is far more difficult.Throughout the film/play, a masked character appears repeatedly.
