What has the benefits affair done to Dutch families? Rotterdam initiator Ninny Duarte Lopes, herself a benefit recipient, showed the whole of the Netherlands what families had to endure during the period when they lived in very problematic debts at the hands of the Tax Authorities. She also wants to encourage the families involved in the benefits affair by looking further into the future and, above all, emphasizing that they do not have to be ashamed. It wasn't their fault. Singer Yuli Minguel was willing to make a song for this project about the struggle of the victim, a song that gives many families the strength to fight for justice. This video clip was made possible thanks to filmmaker Mike Static, producer Céline Santos Pires and residents of Delfshaven.
