Script writers Piet and Jan are stuck writing a sci-fi script. Only to find out that they are part of the script Scriptwriters Piet and Jan are stuck working on their latest screenplay. Piet, a dominant perfectionist, is obsessed with getting every detail right, while Jan, far more relaxed, just wants to enjoy the process. Piet’s personal life is falling apart, yet he can’t stop chasing perfection. After dragging Jan back to the library for inspiration, they speak with a librarian who reveals a shocking truth: they’ve been repeating this same struggle for more than a hundred years. Everything they say, every argument they have, is already written into the script they think they’re creating. A heated fight erupts. When they wake up, their personalities seem to have flipped. Piet has become a younger, enthusiastic writer eager to explore a playful story, while Jan has turned harsh and controlling, insisting nothing is good enough. Slowly, they realize the truth: the writers crafting a script about creative block are themselves characters inside a story about writers battling creative block.
