A contemporary adaptation inspired by Yasmina Reza’s 'God of Carnage,' produced by La Última EsCena. The play strips away the thin veil of bourgeois civility when two pairs of parents meet to resolve a playground conflict, leading to an evening of absolute social chaos. This production, inspired by the acclaimed work of Yasmina Reza, was the flagship project ofLa Última EsCena in August 2025. I performed the lead role of Veronique, a woman committed to political correctness and social justice whose facade slowly unravels into raw, primal emotion. The play explores themes of domestic tension, class prejudice, and the inherent violence beneath polite society. This staging emphasized physical theater and high-stakes realism, marking a significant milestone for the company’s presence in the Santiago theater scene.
