About me
Camiel is a freelance director/writer for film and television. Characteristic of his work is the art of touching the viewer with simple human stories. After graduating from the Dutch Film and Television Academy in 1992, he started as a director at VPRO's Villa Achterwerk. There he developed into a skilled and independent film and television maker. Camiel works for various broadcasters and producers and has also made commercials and video clips. Under his direction, his TV series have won several awards at international festivals and have been sold to Japan, Sweden and Finland, among others.
