Lavie van ingen Schimanski

Lavie van Ingen Schimanski is a Dutch actress and creator of mixed heritage.
She dances classical ballet ages 5-14 and has been active in youth theatre since she was eleven. She took drama lessons during both primary and secondary school. At seventeen, she played the (lead) role of Margo in the IKON drama series 'Barst', directed by Robert Baars, making her television debut.
In 2001, she graduated from the three-year acting program 'Het Collectief' under the direction of Cliff Sutton, Mara Otten, and Lucas Borkel. After graduating, she performed in various productions with the Utrecht-based company 'Tweelicht' and as a guest actress with the Hague theatre company NoordVolk. Both before and after her graduation, she played various roles for television, including Westenwind, Verborgen Verhalen, Nachtegaal, and Zonen. In 2020, she appeared in the drama series Over Water II, Undercover IM, Red Light, etc.
