Claire is a Dutch and English native speaking actress, presenter and voice over. She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and also studied at the Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles. She has participated in numerous masterclasses and workshops from teachers such as Halina Reijn, Tim Carroll, Romy Wuyts and Ivana Chubbuck.
Born and raised in England, her parents both Dutch, she grew up bilingual and frequently uses this trait in her profession. She started acting at a young age, landing her first professional role in the Dutch national production of the musical Annie in 1995.

Claire has been working as a professional actress since finishing drama school in 2009, creating her own work like the dramatic English play The Upper Crust, which was recently filmed. For years she was a member of improv comedy group The Cyclepaths and she performed in many children's theater shows; she was the lead in De Kleine Prins by Theater van Santen and was in several educational plays with theater group Zwerm, among others. Claire performed at theater festivals like De Parade, Fringe, various 'living room' festivals and more. In 2014-2015, Claire played the part of young Emilie in the Dutch national production of one of the world's most famous and successful theater shows War Horse.

Claire now mostly works in front of the camera and has starred in many films and features, from graduation pieces to international films, shown at the Nederlands Film Festival (Paper Island) and the Cannes Film Festival (Vigilance, The Upper Crust). She has been in various children's television productions, for example for School TV What's Up and NTR's Hoela Hoep. She also played different roles in television series as Bitterzoet, Levenslied and Moordvrouwen.
Claire frequently works as an actress and presenter in the corporate film business and does voice over work for commercials, corporates, animation films and audiobooks.​
