Born in Washington DC, Antonie moves to Amsterdam at the age of four. He goes to school in the Netherlands and then returns to America to study at Brandeis University in Boston. He then plays in various theaters in America such as the George Street Playhouse, the Old Globe theater and various off-Broadway theaters.
When he is 27, he is temporarily back in the Netherlands and he is asked to appear in Good Times Bad Times for a few months. He then left for America again, where in 2001 he studied at the prestigious drama school Old Globe University of San Diego.
He returns to New York where he plays in various theater plays such as Visiting Mr. Green, Enchanted April and Old Wicked Songs. He can also be seen on the silver screen in films such as Hoax (opposite Julie Delpy) and Down (by director Dick Maas).
On American television, Antonie regularly appeared in guest roles on General Hospital, All My Children and the David Letterman Show, among others.
Since the summer of 2011, Antonie has again chosen Amsterdam as his home base from which he carries out projects in the Netherlands and America. In the past period she played guest roles in Flikken Maastricht and the Net5 series Hart Tegen Hard.
