about me
Yasmin is a Dutch actress, born and raised in Amsterdam. She was drawn to the craft of acting at four years old, and starting building her resumé at a young age with student films, theatre shows and acting classes. She studied acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. She was able to do so with the help of a scholarship from Dutch TV producer Joop van den Ende. At the Academy she explored the acting methods of Stanislavsky, Meisner, Uta Hagen and other great influencers. After graduating the American Academy of Dramatic Arts she has starred in multiple films, commercials and theatre plays. For her latest short film ‘TRAPP/E.D’ she received an honorable mention at the Indie Short Film Festival in Los Angeles and Best Actress Award at the Amsterdam Short Film Festival.

Yasmin most recent short film TRAPP/E.D is a pyschological thriller about a girl fighting her own demons. This short film earned her an 'honorable mention' at the Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles and 'Best Actress' at the Amsterdam Short Film festival. She has multiple projects waiting to come out, like the independent feature film 'Hollow Bedrooms', short films 'SLAY' and 'Boezemkring'. Next to films she has starred in more than 10 theatre productions in Los Angeles and Amsterdam.
