Camera, light, action! Where work is being done on image and/or sound, I come into action. My head runs on a motor called creativity. This manifests itself in making videos and music. I prefer to use this combination as a means of communication, because an image speaks more than a thousand words.

In 2017 I graduated as a video maker/storyteller from the Communication & Multimedia Design course at the Noordelijke Hogeschool in Leeuwarden. During this training I have always been given what is so nice within the field of image and sound: freedom to constantly develop yourself. For example, during my school days I was able to carry out very diverse projects: from video portraits to afterfilms of events.

In addition to possessing the knowledge in the field of image and sound, I am also someone who prefers to pass this on to others. There is nothing nicer than seeing a satisfied look on someone's face after you have helped someone in the field that fascinates you so much. That is why I often volunteer to give people answers to questions in the field of image and sound.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm a video maker or a construction worker. What I do is build bridges between problems and solutions by using moving images. Communication through text is often so static, image creates dynamism. This dynamic keeps the world awake and ensures that everyone speaks much more: metaphorically.

Ik wil communicatie losmaken van het statische. Een bewegend beeld spreekt meer dan duizend woorden. Het beeld kan zelfs spreken zonder woorden, het is beeldsprekend. Door statische tekst om te zetten naar bewegend beeld begint je boodschap, je verhaal te leven. Hierdoor geef je je verhaal een karakter waardoor je mensen hun emoties kunt raken.

Method:
- Do you have a wonderful story, a message or something else that you want to tell your customers, but you don't know how? Don't worry, come by or pick up the phone and together I will see how we can package your story into a strong concept.
- I will then work this concept out for you in a production sheet, which contains all the details of the video so that there are no more ambiguities.
- If this sheet has been approved, we will make an appointment for a shooting day(s) on which the video will be shot according to the production sheet.
- On the shooting day itself, interesting things may happen that were not in the sheet, but can still add value to your video. In this case, the situation can be responded to in a creative and flexible way.
- Is everything on image and sound? Great, then we can work on editing the video.
- Is the assembly finished? You will then be sent a preliminary version so that you can check whether your story/message has been conveyed properly.
- Still not completely satisfied? Which can. In this case, you send all feedback in one bundle so that a new version can be released quickly.
- When the feedback has been processed, the video comes to you again and the goal has been achieved: your story speaks through images. Imagery? Excellent!
