Annet de Ruiter (Arnhem, 1993) has developed into a socially engaged actress, performer and theater maker at the Mime Training. She acted in several short films (such as 'Innerpuzzle' by Bart de Kleijn and 'Wie zoë is, get treats' by Ludy Graffelman), video clips (e.g. 'Pray The Light' by Faces On TV and 'Can Anybody Fly This Thing' by JUL) and in many theater productions throughout the country (including 'What we leave behind' by Davy Pieters/Theater Utrecht, 'You are here' by Dries Verhoeven and 'Ruimtevlucht' by Het Houten Huis & Holland Opera).
As an actress, she is distinguished by her sharpness, both in presence and quality of movement, physical transformations and confident, but vulnerable acting. With one look, Annet knows how to bind the audience – and to fix their gaze.
