about me
I am a curious actor and theatre maker with four years of experience in various forms of theatre. During my vocational acting training, I delved into acting, with a clear affinity for text-based theatre.
I work from imagination, with dedication and a keen sense of detail. In my acting, I seek authenticity by connecting my own personality with the given circumstances of a role, in a working method akin to Stanislavski's approach to acting, with influences from Chekhov and Meisner.
In addition to acting, I am also developing my singing and vocal technique, working with the Universal Voice method to continually broaden my instrument as a performer.
Given my age and my ambition to be admitted to drama school, I choose to pursue a broad orientation, while my strengths and interests lie strongest in working with text and deepening acting.

My main projects are the monologue *Dat soort dingen*, with which I am currently touring, and the site-specific performances *Blijdorp* and *Het Oneindige Nu* from my acting training. At Elzer Producties, I performed in *Titanic*, worked as a directing assistant on *Age of Rage*, and am currently co-creator and director of the production *Je Moeder*, which is produced by this company. In these projects, I have primarily developed my skills in text-based theatre and in deepening my acting, with the humanity and authenticity of the moment at the center for me.
