about me
When Anne-Marieke was accepted at the film academy, she quit her regular job as a nurse in the emergency room. She has successfully completed a part-time art track at St. Joost. With her third-year film, Lieve Anne-Marieke, she won the Audience Award at VERS in 2010, where she won a workshop at the Binger Institute and was nominated for the international film festival in Macedonia. She gained a lot of experience as a directing assistant and did an internship in the post stage of the film When the war ends, by Thijs Schreuder.

remarks
I'm 35 and I'm very happy with the steps I've made to go back to college. I notice that my 16 years of work experience has a positive contribution to my view of the world and therefore to the films I would like to make.

My interest is in stories that make people think. Stories about both big and seemingly small subjects.
