Until 2004 I worked as a production assistant and assistant location manager in the film industry. From 2004 as an actor and screenwriter. I am an actor who is at his best when he can work with opponents who - like me - don't play their part but live. If the situation calls for it, I deviate from the (through) living model: I once read in my script that a character I had driven to death was in my arms. Both under the blood. I was deeply concerned about this prospect. Luckily I got a part in a commercial where I met a cool stage actor and explained my problem to him. He knew what to do with that. He asked me a question. A question. “Oscar, what does sadness look like?” Even before he had finished his question, the penny dropped with me. I had to redo that scene a few times (due to technical problems ;-) . Every time before 'Action' sounded I could giggle with my opponent and the crew. I am eternally grateful to him for that. About my quality as an actor I can proudly say that in that Telefilm whose title I will not mention, especially (only?) the scenes in which Hans Kesting and I played were convincing. A tyrant that Hans. But I stood and more than that. It was a joy to play with that beast. Thank you Hans! Finally, when I had to play a nasty manager once, the director asked between takes, "Was I such a nasty guy or was I just playing this?"
