As an actor's daughter, acting was literally taught to me from a young age: My stage debut was when I was three weeks old (of course I understand that that does not count as acting experience ;-)). But partly because of this, I started taking acting lessons at an early age. I also made my film debut at the age of 8 in the film Babs (2000) by Irma Achten. Throughout my childhood and teenage years I continuously performed in small productions. I also took theater as an exam subject at the time. Although it was always my plan to go to drama school, due to financial concerns I decided to opt for a study with more security.

Blood flows where it can't go, and I've been playing for a while now. It started with a course at De Toneelmeester to freshen up. I also studied at the writers' school, where I also took the Theater and Screenwriting subjects for a few years. I have been working as a trainer for large companies for two years now, where you constantly have to improvise and respond based on the emotion that the participant evokes in you. This allows you to continuously train your ability to take action and of course play.
