Since 1999 I have been active as a journalist in the Mexican regional and national media. I have gained experience in radio, television, photography, art direction, film, art and music reviews. As a journalist I have gained experience in the functions of editor, reporter and editor-in-chief. After my migration to the Netherlands I focused on the academic understanding of the impact of ICT on the media industry. After obtaining my Master in New Media and Digital Culture at Utrecht University I am ready for a career in the European media industry. I also want to start with personal projects, such as a non-fiction website, a Mexican cookbook and my debut in literature as a writer. I believe in adaptation as the key to the evolution of media and I am sensitive to trends. I also dare to take on new challenges and I am a go-getter. I speak fluent (international) Spanish and English as well as reasonable Dutch. In addition, I am creative, a freethinker and socially empathetic.
