Kathinka van Putten is a film, TV, theater and voice actress and presenter. Acting has always been her passion, but while studying business administration at the University of Amsterdam, she decided that it was finally time to follow her heart. For this reason, in addition to her Master's degree, she took a theater course at theater school 'De Trap'. After completing both studies, she moved to New York City to study at the New York Film Academy. Subsequently, she moved to Los Angeles to start her career as an actress. In the past two years, she has obtained her artist visa, booked a recurring role in the TV pilot 'African President', done voice-overs for the Netflix documentary 'Sounding the Alarm', and appeared in several Indie films and theater productions. She also represented the Netherlands during the Queen of Universe pageant, organized by the Oscar-nominated production company Infinity Media, including the film 'Capote' with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Kathinka is also active for the ygenwijs.nl platform, for which she makes vlogs about the life of an actor.
