My name is Robin Gibcus, I am 13 years old and I live with my father, mother and sister in the Groningen area. My hobbies are gaming and vlogging, but my greatest passion is making music and acting!
What have I done so far? I haven't been sitting still because I really enjoy it. For example, a while ago I auditioned at the RTL Topclub in Vinkeveen (musical academy). Actually, I went there to see what an audition exactly entails and, above all, to learn from it. I had to learn a piece of text and a song and perform it there. That went so well that I passed the audition and was allowed to go to the Top Club. So that meant 3 hours of rehearsals every week on Sunday in Amersfoort for singing, dancing and acting. I really enjoyed it there, but I don't really like the dancing and I didn't really get the feedback I needed there.
After that I had singing lessons at the Babette Labeij Music Academy in Amsterdam. That went well and was also a lot of fun, but in Groningen it was no longer possible to combine it with my school hours. At the end we had a great performance at the Melkweg in Amsterdam!
I am now at the Talent School of the music school. There we are mainly concerned with performance and singing and performing at various locations. On Sunday, July 3, we have our own CD presentation at Hotel Faber in Hoogezand. There will also be a performance after the holidays
I am committed to really progressing in music or acting and to be able to turn my hobby into my job and I am willing to do a lot for that!
