For SpangaS: De Campus I did three months of directorial assistance. I have

I did the pre-editing for Son which is part of the six-part drama series De Straat. Editing partly improvised scenes was a unique
challenge.

For the midlength film De Sterfshow I performed both of these functions. Because
there was a lot of work done with physical screens in scenes, so I did that between the shooting days
having to do a lot of editing to provide all screens with the correct images.

Log and sync raw audio and video material according to the guidelines of
Storm and pre-editing for Dutch series and feature films.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Developing ideas for audiovisual productions is something I am constantly working on

After my education I did editing assistance for two film projects.

This has greatly improved my assistant director skills.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
I self-financed and produced my graduation project, short film Split-Up.
I was responsible for finding film locations, applying for permits, finding crew members, planning the logistics of filming, etc.
RESEARCH
Due to the academic nature of my education, I have often been involved in
writing papers and essays. I did this with pleasure and excelled in it:
my thesis received the highest grade in the class and my video essay was
published by my teacher on his website and was mentioned in an article by
Sight & Sound.
