Hi, I'm Ted, a passionate actor!
Acting experience: 20 years of amateur theatre at local association:
An association with experienced players and very good directors. I have played beautiful roles in a period of almost 15 years that I was a member of the group. Plays in which I have played include: Flat zonder Uitzicht by Neil Simon, Platonov by Anton Tjechov, The Good Doctor by Neil Simon, Bij Vlagen a 1-acter by Eve Sluis-Bruin, Biography by Max Fisch and a number of other plays.
Followed various directing workshops at De Kunst in Alkmaar: Modules: coaching 1 and 2, lighting concepts, theatre formation, playing in space.
Directing course: Short directing course of 10 half days with an exam piece.
Teacher: Providing drama lessons for groups 6-7-8 in primary school and for adults.
Extras and acting roles: Various (bit part) extra roles played in films and series + small supporting roles, audition for ABN Amro commercial performed at Catpeople Amsterdam. (scroll down)
Theatre maker, own theatre group: Het Noorden Speelt:

Mid 2007 I founded theatre group 'Het Noorden Speelt' and together with theatre partner we mainly perform in a rented theatre, at 1-act festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium, on request or sometimes elsewhere in the country. Living room theatre at people's homes is also one of our possibilities. For a small group of people we make a beautiful performance every year. www.hetnoordenspeelt.nl previously we performed Kleine Teun by Alex van Warmerdam. HNS is currently on hold.
