My name is Chris Syntychakis and I am 16 years old. I am half Dutch and half Greek. At the moment I am a stocking team member at Albert Heijn. I do karate and do this 2/3 times a week. Furthermore, I am currently in 5 gymnasium. I have always been fascinated by films. I like classics the most. My favorite themes are 'mafia films' and 'psychological thrillers'. I am also a big fan of actors such as Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando, Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robin Williams and Matt Damon.
These are my role models for me. If I learned anything from them, it is that acting does not go from nothing to something. By this I mean that acting is an art and that you cannot learn it. You can do it, or you cannot. That is why I believe that theater as a hobby would not teach me much. Hence no experience in that area. My whole life I have heard from all sides that I have multiple faces. I could never come to terms with this before, but I have extrad it out. Becoming an author has always been a silent dream of mine. Becoming just like my role models. I have had to do some acting for school and I am more than good at it. Compliments like: "Indistinguishable from real". At such a moment I really immerse myself in my role. Every now and then it takes a while before I am back to reality. I have a function that can no longer distinguish fake from real. I am enthusiastic and willing to bring this out.
