My name is Merlinda van der Vegt, I am 16 years old, I am in the 4th year of VMBO kader at the Etty Hillesum Lyceum De Marke-zuid and I live with my parents and 4 cats in Deventer, which is located in Overijssel.

In my spare time I am mostly very creative, such as photographing nature, people, cityscapes and objects. I have had ideas to sell my own photos, such as photos on canvas etc. but that ultimately came to nothing. I do have an Instagram account where I post my photos. That account is called: @photograph_merlinda, but most followers are acquaintances.

Besides taking photos, I also have a passion for drawing (actually copying photos onto a light box) which I then colour in completely with chalk/wax.

And now I come to the subject of films and series.
I'm a huge fan of horror and drama and together with a friend of mine we often watch Netflix films/series in those genres together.

At a young age I often watched films, especially in the cinema with girlfriends + parents ;) and afterwards I always fantasized at home about what it would be like if I had a role that appealed to me that I had seen in the film. And then I sometimes talked to my parents about whether they thought it was good/nice if I went to a theater school, but in the end we didn't do anything with that for years and therefore no experience. I was allowed to participate in the group 8 musical, but unfortunately I had a small role (a soldier), but it was a pleasure to play that role. Later in high school in the first year of secondary school we had so-called talent programs where I chose theater. Together with a group we had to write a scenario for our own piece that we had to play for an audience. Images of that are on YouTube but were filmed in time lapse so that everyone could see their piece.

Now those 2 small experiences were very good to me and I would like to continue with them. That is how I found this top site.
