Bram Legerstee – Actor | Voice Actor | Presenter
Bram Legerstee (born January 7, 1966) is an actor, voice actor, and presenter based in Rotterdam. He studied at the Rotterdam Theater School from 1988 to 1992 and has worked in film, television, and theater ever since.
He appeared in several films in 2025, including The Flower Monster, Mud Dance, Traces of the Sun, Fresh Air, The Golden Thread, The Pickle Man, Even Good Friends, and The Last Step. For this last film, he was nominated for Best Actor at the 48 Hour Project in Arnhem.
Other notable film projects include Hard Core Never Dies (nominated for Best Film – NNF 2024), Forget All You Know (about aliens) (nominated for Best Film – NNF 2025) and Going Dutch, which finished third at the Cannes Film Festival and received the award for Best Acting Ensemble.
Bram's television credits include Anonymous, Woeste Grond (Waste Ground), Haantjes (Little Cocks), Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (Good Times, Bad Times), Onderweg Naar Morgen (On the Way to Tomorrow), and De Club van Sinterklaas (The Sinterklaas Club). He was associated with theater companies such as the Rotterdam Center for Theater (RCTH), TG Tartuffe, Theater Babel, and TG de Klassieken for many years, and has been a regular actor at Theater INsBlau for the past two years.
On stage, he performed both classical repertoire and newly written plays. He has performed roles such as Edmund (King Lear), Puck (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Andrew (Epiphany's Eve), Richard (Richard III), and the young Faust in Goethe's Faust.
He also worked on contemporary plays such as "Blood Relatives," "Who's Crazy Now," and "Such a Boundless Desire for Friendship," often directed by Paul Rottger. At Theater Babel, he performed in intimate productions like "I Through the Other," as well as major site-specific projects like "Displaced."
Bram is also active as a voice actor. His voice can be heard in productions for Bruna, the Dutch Dairy Association, HSL, Aeternus, and various apps.
He speaks Dutch, English UK/US and German, and is skilled in horse riding, sailing and stunt fighting among other things.
