I'm a Hungarian film student doing my Erasmus in Utrecht at the moment. I work in the film industry in Budapest for 2 years, it is famous for its cheap but professional environment for filmmaking.
I mostly have experience in production management, I made several short films as a prod manager and had been working in big productions as a PA. I also have experience in working as a 1st or 2nd AD in student films and also in a short documentary we made about a Hungarian poet. Furthermore, I have experience in acting, I had some small roles in TV shows, feature and short films, and I used to work in commercials as well. Now I have a role in a theatre play in Budapest.
I am really excited and curious to see what the film-making is like abroad. I really have to gain experience in shootings abroad and get to know people. Fortunately, I can make all my courses in the spring, which means I will be available full time from the middle of April. I am also happy to move to Amsterdam if needed.
