Donnavon Madaran is a Dutch actor of Surinamese-Hindustani origin.
Madaran was allowed to play Lars in NPO's hit series 'Dertigers' and has won an award
festival films can play beautiful leading and supporting roles.
For example, 'Hantu' was screened at the NFF, 'RELEASE' premiered at the Roze Filmdagen in Amsterdam, OUT premiered at Frameline in San Francisco and was recently sold to France, and 'Nachtrood' will be screened at the Femme Filth Festival in Los Angeles in 2025.
When not on set, Madaran studies at the Method Acting Studio Amsterdam under the guidance of award-winning Hollywood actor André Landzaat who has worked with the likes of Al Pacino, Robert de Niro, Shelley Winters and Elizabeth Taylor.
For this he studied at the Toneelmeester under the guidance of Hugo Konings. Here he is taught by actors who have won Goede Kalveren to great directors. Madaran was taught in improvisation, elementary acting, working with directors, developing characters and making performances.
Madaran also played for De Gasten.
Madaran started performing at the age of 11 in professional theatre productions such as 'Mo & Julia', 'Little Sophie' and 'Once Upon a Time There Were Three Wolves'.
